in honor of poetry month, (april)

all i did
was drive 4 doors down
to the post office
out of the ruby too
i stopped for just a moment
when i got back
and turned the key
nothing
nothing happened
poor poor
ruby too
she would not start
oh dear
what could be the problem
off to the garage we went
me and the ruby too
"a new battery" eric said
"they don't make'em like they used to"
a new battery it was
now me and the ruby too
are back on the rode
happy and health as can be
me and the ruby too
