from me to all of you .....

My friends, we find ourselves on the edge of night and day 


Blessed be the sun that shines at noon upon our inner and outer day and
throws no shadow on the path ahead.

Let us pause to rest from all our labors in the light of the Sun and the
Moon and celebrate at this summit of the solar cycle.

Pause, listen and feel the words of the Divine Sun 
 known by many names
to many people 


I am Hae-soon, the Korean Sun Goddess, who on the 1st day she rose was so
shy and embarrassed by the people staring at her that she turned so
bright, blinding the people by her radiance they could no longer look at
her, this suited the shy Hae-soon and she continued to glow brightly from
then on.

I am Amaterasu, the Japanese Shinto Sun Goddess

I am also Amon-Ra, the falon headed, with Aten , the disk of the sun, as
my crown.
I rise and set each day, riding from horizon to horizon on the back of
Nut, the Sky Goddess

I am Apollo, you see me each day as I drive across the sky.  I am the
protector of the corps and help the fruits of your labor ripen.
I am also Helios, Greek God, who knows everything and stands for
righteousness.

and so many more ...

But now, today, what does it matter whether you see me as Goddess or God 


I still feed you, infusing the earth and all her inhabitants with life
force energy and all beings flourish 


The sacred seed you sowed at springtime has become a precious plant in
flower.

What have you worked since seed time?

Taste the fruits of your labor
Feel the fruits of your labor
See the fruits of your labor
Know the fruits of your labor
See the bounty of your life

What are your hopes of the harvest to come?

Work with will and play with pleasure 

And always remember that when you lose the way or falter for a moment, you
can recover balance and proceed again when you if I am always with you 

within you, for I am the Divine Spirit and we are one 


The sun stands still – Turn and gaze upon the shadows of the past 6 months
– Remember,  your journey  out of the shadows 
 into the light – feel
again how  you toiled to plant  seeds of future growth, how you’ve
nurtured them 
 turn now – the sun stands still

So blessed be the faithful fires of summer kindled on the hilltops of the
outer world and deep within your hearts in honour of this the Summer
Solstice.  And rise on the steam created by the passions of Night and Day

 Dance along the strand of passion that separates the waxing and waning
year – on the future harvests

So my friends, on this the Summer Solstice
Stand Still
Grounded in the knowledge and wisdom of your continued growth
